The government Saturday suspended the list of awardees of Bangla Academy Literary Awards-2024 after two days of announcement of their names.
Adviser to the Ministry of Culture Affairs Mostofa Sarwar Farooki informed this in a post in his verified face book account tonight.
However, Director General of Bangla Academy Prof. Mohammad Azam in a press statement said, “The list of Bangla Academy Literary Awards-2024 has been postponed.”
A revised list of award recipients will be announced within the next three working days, the statement added.
