She was handed over to Bhatara Police Station after the arrest on Sunday (May 18). Bhatara police station showed her arrested in an attempt to murder case, said Bhatara Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Majhurul Islam.
It is reported that 17 people, including Apu Biswas, Asna Habib Bhabna and actor Zayed Khan, were accused in an attempt to murder case filed in the capital’s Bhatara police station area during the July uprising.
According to the case sources, one Enamul Haque filed the case with the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate’s Court in Dhaka. In the case, actress Nusrat Faria was accused of being a financier for the Awami League by taking a stand against the anti-discrimination movement.
