The new presentation of ‘My bKash (Amar bKash)’ icon now gives users an instant snapshot of their daily financial transactions. By consolidating all transaction details in one customised space, overall financial management has become easier and more effective.
Alongside this, the interfaces of ‘My bKash’ and ‘My Offers’ have been presented in a cleaner, more organised way. New themes have been added, bringing significant changes to the overall look of this widely used app. Additionally, the latest version of bKash app includes features like bonus points, purchasing insurance policies directly from the app, coupons, rewards and others.
My bKash
When users enter the ‘My bKash’ interface, the first thing they see is how many years they’ve been using bKash – creating an extra sense of belonging. The navigation bar on the home screen now includes the ‘My bKash’ icon, allowing customers to easily access their bKash world with just a tap. From reward points, Priyo number, Priyo agent, saved billers, cards and bank accounts, savings or loan details, auto-pay, subscriptions – everything is available on a single screen. This not only ensures faster service but also makes financial management smarter and time-saving. Users can also view the list of other apps they’ve subscribed to or linked from bKash on the same screen.
My Offers
To encourage the habit of digital transactions, bKash provides a wide range of offers throughout the year for all types of customers. From discounts on transactions to special offers, everything can be found under the ‘My Offers’ icon on the home screen. Based on user demand and transaction patterns, bKash provides customised offers for added convenience. By tapping on ‘My Offers’, customers can view detailed lists of offers (such as Bank to bKash, Card to bKash, Payments, Remittance, bKash to Bank, etc.) and enjoy their preferred deals along with reward points. Even if there are no active offers, tapping this section can still earn bonus points for the customers. Each offer includes details and expiry dates, making transactions more cost-effective.
Home Screen Interface Update
Inspired by the beauty of Bengal, three new animated themes – Nobojatra (New Dawn), Proshanti (Serenity), and Godhuli (Twilight) – have been introduced in the app. These themes make the home screen more vibrant and lively. Customers can choose and switch themes as they like. Besides, icons on the home screen have been redesigned to be cleaner and more compact, making it easier for users to select services at a glance.
Buying Insurance Policies
Customers can now purchase health and life insurance policies directly from the bKash app. To purchase an insurance policy, users need to tap the insurance icon on the home screen and select ‘Buy New Policy’. Then, they need to provide necessary details, choose between health or life insurance, enter their age, and view available coverage options. After selecting the preferred coverage and confirming, the policy becomes active. Premium payments, document & receipts downloads can also be managed from the app.
Enhanced Guest Mode
The guest mode allows browsing services without logging in or registering. Those who haven’t opened a bKash account yet – or are interested in doing so – can explore the app’s services and offers in detail through guest mode.
